Our ambulance

In March 2019 Herona Hospital became the proud owners of their own ambulance. Money was raised in the UK by London to Brighton cycle, long distance run and house and garden tea parties. We are particularly grateful to Kathy, Dan and IMET2000 who's cycle ride raised £8000 towards the ambulance.

The ambulance has been put to immediate good use, helping a stab victim, mothers with serious pregnancy issues and many others. There is a minimal charge for petrol and staff which makes the service sustainable. The ambulance is very well equipped with oxygen, patient monitor and other essential equipment
