HIV Care Services

Herona Hospital Ltd are very proud to announce the launch of their HIV Care Services which will include: Free HIV testing, Free counselling, Free ARV's for the treatment of HIV, Free treatment of HIV related complications, This will be held on Friday 27th April. The clinic is supported by Makerere University Walter Reed Project,(MUWRP). MUWRP runs the government scheme in the Mukono district. Herona Hospital are delighted to be part of the scheme and would like to say a special thank you to Dr Dumba, Mukono district HIV focal person at the Disrtrict Health Office and Mr Enock of MUWRP. The clinic will be available on the day from early morning until 10 pm to favour those at work and those whom prefer not come during the day. This will save community members from moving long distances to units with free HIV services. It has been high on the Herona priority list to bring this vital service to our community and we are very happy that it is now possible . Thank you to everyone involved.
