Herona Hospital have had their first outreach with their new ambulance. Having the ambulance meant the outreach could venture further to more remote villages. They travelled some 45 km to a village that hadn’t had outreach for 3 years where they treated over 200 locals. They gave free immunisation to babies, free anti cervical cancer treatment for 8 – 10 year old girls, deworming and vitamin A for infants. The ambulance made the outreach possible and it was a great success.
