Herona Hospital held their first HIV/AIDS and Hep B awareness and sensitisation day for construction workers on August 28.
This was a government initiated programme in collaboration with SOGEA SATOM a construction company who are working a new water pipe system.
Awareness and sensitisation ensures primary prevention of diseases.
A team of 18 doctors and nurses counselled, gave health education, tested for HIV and Hep B for many people.
The day was a great success.
